Yesterday, Gary, Kevin, Gary, and I rode from 28 Mile up to Gable, across Boulder FSR to Traverse and then back to 28 Mile by Howe Campground, stopping at two snowmobile cabins. The sky was clear, so we enjoyed all the great scenery. The only bad thing was all the waterbars we came across. It seems like every time we ride a trail for the first time this year there are more waterbars. There are some on Gable just after the turn to Uno. There is also a large slide in this area (the road is starting to slide down a couple hundred feet into the creek). Some waterbars are six feet deep and starting to wash out deeper. We made it through this time, but soon we will have to become creative. The brush is getting thicker also, from Boulder FSR to Traverse. It was a great ride. Jesse
